Oh oh oh, I'd LOVE to answer this one!
First of all, congratulations on your precious little one! I have a three month old and a 19 month old, both of which had trouble with sleeping during the night between birth and 3 months old.
Here's a list of things that you can try and have worked for my two little boys:
Offer the breast or bottle more often during the day.
Keep as few lights on as possible during middle of the night wakings. Blue or green lightbulbs in a lamp work well for lighting, but keep the 'night' effect when they wake. Keep lights on during daytime naps as well. This helps them learn that night is night and day is day.
If they wake during the night, do what you have to do (a feeding, a changing, etc.) and then put them back to bed, don't linger and keep them up. Also, avoid eye contact with them. This is a HARD one, but it works well. When you make eye contact with your baby, their heart rate increases and makes them more awake and alert.
If you're rooming in, you may want to try putting the baby in his own room. I wanted to room in SO badly, but we found with BOTH of our sons, that as soon as they had their own room, they slept 8-12 hours during the night!
If they're rooming in and co-sleeping, you may want to try putting him/her in a bassinet. Your movements might be waking them.
If they're already in their own room, try rooming in with them! Variety works well, so find out what makes them comfortable.
Don't attempt to swaddle him/her unless he's younger than 1 month, (believe it or not, they've learned to love the freedom that the womb and swaddling restricts!) but DO dress them in warm clothing for bed.
Good luck, I hope something works and you're able to catch up on your own sleep too.

There are rarely real government grants to start a small business.
The grants are a myth. And that stupid guy in the yellow suit with the question mark is selling a book of lies.
You should look into contacting your closest SBA (Small Business Association) office; they are the best resource. Also try to contact your city hall and see if they have any small business programs. Here is a link for the Tennessee SBA website.
Sorry to burst your bubble but goodl luck on your business venture

No, time does not "slow down". It still has 60 minutes for each hour. The slowing down effect is what you SEE, when you are looking at something moving fast.
Here's a discussion that might help you.
